The classes

Control it.Load it.Express it.

Three classes, one method. Strength Pilates on the Powerformer™ — every class controls and loads. What changes is how much time each gets — and in Power, a third move: expression.

A Strength Pilates class at Reformer LDN

Foundation, Elevate and Power aren't three difficulty levels — they're the same work in different amounts. Control and load in every class; expression in Power. Every class is all levels, every room is mixed, and every spring is set for you.

Control it

Foundation

The time goes to controlling the movement under the spring: where the weight sits, whether the pelvis stays set, what holds through the middle when the carriage pulls away. It's the class new clients start with and the one regulars come back to, because control is what lets you load heavy everywhere else.

Elevate

This is the class that gives it the most time — heavier springs, fewer resets, weights in hand. Work that asks how much force you can produce, how deep you can take it, and how long you can hold it. Nothing is rushed; the carriage just keeps asking. It's the class most weeks are built around, and you leave knowing exactly what you had in you that day.

Express it

Power

Producing force, absorbing it, then doing it again — moving the carriage fast, stopping it clean, and finding the speed a spring gives you once you're organised enough to use it. It's the one class that expresses: control and the strength underneath it are the base the expression is built on.
